My mom came back from the states the other day and handed me over a couple of these warm delights yummies.  I may never make another cake again. It's easy-bake for grown up lazy slobs.  The next time she goes I'm asking her to bring back at least 10.  You literally add some water, squeeze in some chocolate goop and microwave it for 1 minute.  :o

I also just finished watching every single available episode of Skins (UK version) available and I love this series.  It's so not 90210.  (which I do also love, actually...)

And I recently started using white eyeliner on the inside of my lower eyelid only.  It came from a tip from Reese Witherspoon (Thanks, Reese) and it works amazingly.  It really brightens your eyes and wakes them up.  I am now a believer, and I keep a white eyeliner everywhere.

I picked up this book  last week at Chapters.
You all know how I feel about Leonard's music.  But I am now only a third through his book of poems and I am already totally dreading the end.  I save a poem for a special moment.  When I have a cup of tea beside me, the baby's asleep, and I can soak up his words like a kitty lapping at my milk....

And everybody knows I'm a huge lip product fanatic.  Get some of this.

And I got bangs!!!

My New Lipstick

WOO!

Anyone who knows me is well aware of my lip product addiction.
I love make-up!  And I am always hunting for the perfect lipstick or gloss shade.  I did fine the perfect lipgloss.  It's perfect.  It feels great, tastes good, feels amazing and looks perfect.  On me, at least.  I can't tell you what you should put on your face.  But it you're pale and you have big lips maybe these will also work for you.

There it is.  Shade 106.  It happens to be a favourite all over blogland; I just googled it and I am not the first to blog about this specific one.  So.
Anyway, I always wanted a great nude shade of lipstick.  Without any shimmery-glittery shit.  How hard is it to find a decent matte lipstick?  It's almost impossible.
Yesterday we were off to the mall because I needed a new duffle bag for work.  While we were there I stopped in Sephora (also known as make up heaven) and scrupulously inspected every lipstick.  And I found it.  I found the one I've been looking for my entire adult life.
This is NARS Honolulu Honey lipstick.  It was almost 40 dollars.  If I had known that I probably would have just tried to steal it.  These people are crooks.  At any rate, if it ends up in the dryer I will probably sandwich my head between two anvils and jump in front of a freight train.

mascara

My whole adult life I have been searching for a mascara that builds volume without clumping (none of them do, they all fucking lie in their commercials and for that I HATE THEM!)
I took a chance, not long ago.
I bought a mascara that cost almost 30 bucks.  That's pretty steep.  Praying that I didn't make some awful mistake, I applied like, 5 coats of Laura Mercier volume building mascara and it is the best I have ever tried.  And I always try new brands of mascara because they all have disappointed in the past.
Give it a try, it's the best thing that has ever happened to me.
Only one problem - it is a real bitch to remove.  But I can ignore that...
